Replaced the Control-defrost, adaptive timer, PC board 241508001 after the freezer froze up and the fridge side was warm. The board was fried. Got the same problem after a couple of weeks working fine. Could the defrost thermostat 5303918214 be the problem now?

If the adaptive defrost board was fried, there was an excessive current in some circuit. More often it happens because of a bad compressor. You may want to inspect the adaptive defrost board again and, if it's fried again, try to figure out which circuit exactly is damaged. Here is the wiring diagram. Gene.

Yes, I had to replace the neutral wire from my meter pole to the house breaker box. It fried circuit boards in my electric stove, dishwasher, the microwave/hood and the fridge. In the fridge, on the ADC board the orange capacitor (the size of a dime) was blown apart. After I replaced it about two weeks ago, it worked until yesterday. The freezer has frost as it did before but it is making ice and freezing.

Have you checked the ADC again?
