I have read several posts concerning this problem and I am getting a little confused as where to start. The gas flame ignites and then goes out after a few minutes. The igniter glow a few minutes later but the flame does not start. If I wait and let everything cool down, it will heat up but only for a few minutes again. Okay, so I have taken it apart and checked of obstructions, included the vent to the exterior. Blower fan workes fine. Flame is blue. Which parts should I start with first or should I just replace the parts that keep coming up in the posts. (gas coil, thermal fuse, heating element, igniter, thermostats, etc)
Thanks, Bedrock

The secondary coil is bad, that is why it starts at first, and then not after that. Quick, and easy repair, and you don't have to shut the gas off to do it. Tom ApplianceEducator.com - Parts
