repair man said that it is bad...... i know that i dont hear water being splashed around anymore... and the soap is still on the door like it hadnt even been touched at the end of the cycle...... i opened door real quick once to see... i saw the water at bottom with slight movement. im thinking the motor works but maybe the pump needs rebuilt....i am an electromechanical technician.... just dont have the experience with this .... so any suggestions\help would greatly be appreciated.

The first thing I would do is remove the pump and carefully inspect it for a water marks. You also can measure the motor resistance from the control module without removing the pump. If the motor is still good, then the pump can be rebuild. Otherwise the whole assembly has to be replaced. The instructions are attached to the reply. - The pump repair kit Part number: AP2802376
