Greetings!

We have a 4 year old sub zero 632 side-by-side refer. When we open the refer door to retrieve an item then shut the door there is a gurgling sound from the unit for approx. 3 to 5 seconds. A short term solution has been to empty an accumulation of water from the built in water tray under the the unit. This seams to take care of the problem for about a week but then the sound and water return. Can anyone please let us know how to permanently solve this issue?

Thanks!

Not to familiar with the sub zero, but your drain tube should have a bend in it. If you cut the tube so it is a straight shot to the drain pan, this will get rid of the gurgling sound. Just be sure the tube will drain the water into the pan if you decide to cut it, or you'll have a mess to clean up once a day :)
