this is a very helpful place thanks

on the parts portion of the web site i found my machine and the part i think is responsible for my problem but i want to make sure its only that
part.
the washer is maytag mavt546eww everything works, all functions on all of the different cycles but the machine will not proceed thru any of them
can some one offer a solution
I think it would be ,, as seen from the exploded parts view,, the rotary controler. Would any other parts be affected ?
