My daughter stepped on the knob of my stove and broke the knob off. I would like to order a new part but I don't know if all I need is the knob.....I am going to put in a pic so you guys can see what it looks likes now without the knob. Any advice would be most appreciated

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for GS475LEMS-0 models | AppliancePartsPros.com

Looks to me that you need the knob and the valve.
Looks like the valve shaft has also been broken oo.

If you click on the picture of the part a new page often opens which gives you other views of it. Then clicking on thenm should expand the picture so you can see it better.

This may help

There are two valves to choose from one is here Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Top burner valve, part number: AP3596875 and one is here Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Valve, Burner, part number: AP3085068

the first valve is 67.00 and the second is 45.00 what is the difference between the two?

Both are marked with the same number (corresponding to the number in the diagram).

Thanks!
