The water and ice dispenser starts on its own. If I unplug the controls at the top of the door and then plug it back in the crushed ice light and the fountain light will be on and it is stuck in this mode - will not do anything. If I remove the panel and unplug the boards and then reassemble it will sometimes go back to normal operation for a while - but it is only a matter of time before it starts on its own again - sometimes 5 minutes - sometimes 5 days. There's no rhyme or reason as to when it's going to do what. Had a local repair tech come look at it - said it was the main control board. Put a new one in - still does the same thing. Any suggestions? Could it be the other board for the touch pad? Is there a way to test these boards? I have tested the switch, it is okay.
