Maytag Atlantis Dryer Serial #31560112ZB:
My Dryer no longer buzzes at the end of the cycle. It still dries and stops, but without an end of cycle buzzer sound. I miss it.
Can you help?
Thanks!

I found the problem. The small ball or weight attached to the spring/bell assembly on the timer is missing. I think I heard something rolling around when I moved the dryer, so this is probably it.

Rather than spend $125 on a new timer assembly, I would rather try to put the ball back on the spring with a drop of glue or something to hold it.

Assuming the ball is in the bottom of the dryer cabinet, what do I remove in order to gain access to the bottom of the cabinet? It looks like the cabinet is one piece and cannot be removed easily and the bottom won't come off either.

Any suggestions on how to get to the bottom of the cabinet to retrieve the ball?
