Our washer has been leaking for about a month. Upon opening the front, one can see a leak from the center of the tub where the shaft enters the tub. The leak is normally contained by the pan, but is now leaking enough to run onto the floor. The sping cycle is getting very loud as well. I would like to repair the leaking seal, but don't know which one. Can someone tell me which seal/bearing to purchase, please?
Thank you in advance.

The tub seal and the transmission will have to be replaced. If you only replace the tub seal the transmission will continue to be noisy and most likely fail due to the bad bearing. A tub seal does come with the transmission.
