My gas whirlpool dryer has stopped heating up. A few nights ago I accidently put a pair of shorts in it with confetti (dont ask lol) in the pockets, and it has since stopped heating. The exhaust hose isnt clogged, and the lint trap is clear. When I turn it on the dryer spins and everything, with a new buzz sound now:confused: . I took the front bottom access door off to observe the workings, and the glow plug thing turns on and off periodically while the dryer is on, I dont feel any heat in there. Any ideas?

If the glow coil comes on, with no heat, I would replace the coils on the gas valve. Every once in awhile, the gas valve is bad. But the coils are so cheap it is worth doing first.
