I have a Maytag MDB8600, I am unable to select any function other than Normal and Heavy wash. The rinse, light wash, sanitize, or extra rinse cycles won't activate and I can't select them by pressing the button I reset the power (circuit Breaker) no difference.

Most likely the problem is a bad control panel. If you need the correct part number, post the end of the model number and the color of the control panel.
