I want to replace the belt in my dryer but cannot find a repair manual. I need to know how to open the box to gain access to the area. The motors turns, dryer heat is on, but the drum won't turn. Exhaust hose is clean. Noises normal. Any help would be appreciated.

There are 2 clips between the top and front panel which are about 2 inches in from the corners. Use a putty knife (or similar tool) to release the clips then pull the top forward a little and raise it up. From here you should be able to pull the front panel up out of the way, make sure you disconnect the door switch! Then you can replace your belt. Hope that helps Nat

Once the front panel is off, pull out the drum and verify the idler pulley, attached to the motor mount is ok. Oil it's bearing with non-detergent oil. Then rout the new belt at the old belt mark on the drum with the grooved side against the drum. Install drum, and reach in under the drum and route the belt around the idler pulley and motor pulley. There is only one way you can do this to get proper tension on the belt. Turn drum one revolution to make sure belt tracks properly, then put front cover back on.
