Model number is gts22wcpbrccgg. my evap fan is not running, the compressor and the condenser fan are both running. Freezer is cold, frost on top half of the evap coils and very little on the bottom. Defrost heater is mounted towards the bottom of the evap. Fridge is not very cold because of no air getting down to the fridge. I tested the evap fan motor and got a reading of about 2.5olms think i did it right. I need to know how to test for power to the fan motor w/o killing myself, it is a two wire plug, i put the red wire from the multimeter in one of the plug wires but where do i put the black test lead? anywhere there is metal ?, and what kind of voltage am i looking for? ac? dc? and how much? Is this a common problem? or could it be a circuit board? i can't even find a circuit board, not sure where it is, i have looked in the back where the compressor is but no circuit board. I have a basic multimeter. Seems like the compressor is constantly running. Please help its been like this the past couple of days. model #gts22wcpbrccgg

Measure the voltage between the two wires going to the fan.

Should be 120 volts AC

Yes

According to the parts breakdown you do not have a circuit board the unit uses a thermostat and a defrost timer, see section 5 in the parts.
