My washer stopped spinning. It goes through all the cycles, drains but the drum does not spin.
I replaced the timer and it did not help.
I changed the transmission (the upper bearing has been roaring for a while) and this did not make it spin.
The motor runs and the drain pump pumps out the water but doesn't spin.
There are not electricial connections to the transmission itself so the only way I can think of to make it spin is the motor may ?? be suppose to speed up.
During the drain, spin cycle if I raise the lid, the motor stops.
So, I assum the lid switch is ok.
Could it possibly be the water level switch??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thx.
