My GE PROFILE dishwasher only makes a high pitch sound that comes out of the control board there are no lights and it doesn't do anything else. I checked for 110v and it's ok I tried turning off power then back on that did nothing. The motor is not locked up it moves easy. I tried holding down the reset button that did nothing. I replaced the control board and it still only makes a high pitch sound. what can I try?

Sounds very unusual and it's hard to say what is going on and why it's doing that. I would recommend to call a GE authorized tech.

Gene.

Disconnect power, then disconnect the ribbon cable going from the panel to the board. Now reapply power and see if the noise goes away, if it does, the control panel needs to be replaced. Keep us posted
