Any1 know why my water dispenser doesn't shut off quick enough.
i bought the fridge second hand with no filter and housing was missing; so i bought new housing AP3085317 (2186443) and filter. I connected evrything and made sure their were no drips.
when i put a glass under dispenser and removed it the water continued to run slower and slower untill it stopped.
isnt water dispenser suppose to shut off immediately after you remove your cup? The landloard used a tap line into the cold water supply line, is that enough pressure?

It might be something is hooked up wrong, but first I would make sure you got all the air out of the system. If there is any air in the water bottle (the part that stores the water in the fridge) then the water coming in compresses the air and after you have released the switch the compressed air continues to push water out.
Try flushing it out by getting at least three gallons of water out of the dispenser. Try to make sure all the air is out.
