Have a Whirlpool side by side fridge model ED25UEXHW00...freezer works fine but fridge is not cooling. I have cleaned coils and that hasn't helped. Really don't know much but desperate to see if I can fix or have to buy new. I did notice that on the wall between fridge/freezer the vent at the top blows cold but midway down there is a vent that no air is coming through. I popped the plastic piece off to see if it was blocked but it is clear. Any ideas?
TIA, denimnlace

TIA, denimnlace Have you checked the back wall of the freezer compartment for frost, snow,or ice ? You may have a defrost problem, which would restrict the air flow and temperature in the fresh food compartment. The vent on the left side 1/2 way down the wall is, the air return tunnel, You won't feel much air there, it returns air to the freezer compartment to be re chilled and returned/circulated through the fresh food and freezer compartments. I'm thinking, if you don't have a defrost problem, you may have an air flow problem at the diffuser in the top left area of the fresh food compartment. You may be getting cold air into the compartment, but not enough, if the cam, arm, or shifter knob has been dislodged or jumped the cam,you won't get enough air to chill the fresh food. I've attached parts diagrams for the components involved, so you'll have an idea of where to look and what to check for. I think that will help you, but if you need more assistance please contact us here at AppliancePartsPros.com/repair forum. We're more than happy to help.
