My dishwasher after running its last cycle has the little green light constantly blinking under the "clean" upper right hand section of the control panel. Problem is that we have dishes to clean & can't get it to run again when we press the "start" button. What could be our problem with this dishwasher?
Thanks. Tad

this was a problem child the answer is lenghty if the dishwasher did not see a correct rise in water temp it blinks the clean light 6 times this could be due to a bad heater or thermostat or neutral side of door switch thermistor or control board most of the time it is a control board issue most of the time you can run a diagnostic code and it will go away for a while

How many times did the light blink? Different number of times means something different. Nat

I counted that it was blinking seven times. What would this mean? Originally Posted by: libertyappl How many times did the light blink? Different number of times means something different. Nat

reedcreek34,
The first thing I would do is check for the tech sheets behind the bottom panel and try to reset the dishwasher by running the diagnostic code as described in the tech sheets.
For more accurate advise we need the complete model number of the dishwasher.
Gene.
