GE dryer dvl 223 will only make a brief humming sound when I try to turn on. The drum turns freely by hand. Thanks

two things will cause this problem first something stuck in blower sock washcloth etc but if you can turn drum by hand thats probably not it second would be motor which i would guess to be bad not a job for someone to do without experience
