Mode buttons all work, can set broiler hi/low but when try to set temp in bake/roast only the "9" button has any effect and get message "BRD". If I press the start button then oven goes on in convection mode no matter the setting. Any thoughts?

It could also be part #AP2633043, the main control board

Any way to tell if it is the control panel or the front panel that is really the problem?

You can take a continuity check of the ribbon cable. Take off the control panel, open the door and locate the 3 screws under the panel. Take them out and push up on the panel to unlock it and it will come right out. Make sure you have turned the power off. Now locate the service manual taped to the left side and there are instructions in there on how to perform a continuity check of the ribbon cable.
