My washer will fill up and go through the first wash cycle. When it comes to the time to drain before the spin and rinse cycle, it just stops, makes buzzing noises, and won't do anything else. I'm suspecting the pump has gone out?

If you put the dial into spin cycle, will it spin ? I'm suspecting something in the pump, or like you a bad pump. Part number: AP3160348

When I set it to extra spin, it will spin the full cycle. There's a couple of odd noises now and again, I wonder if something is loose in there? I'm pretty sure there is also some water left inside the machine since it's starting to be kinda stinky and I already got all the water out of the drum. After the spin cycle was over, there was a little bit of residual water and dirt coming back up through the holes.

Based on the info(dirt, mud) you may need to clean it as well. And replace the pump.
