Ok, This is the second time this has happened. My teenage daughter tripped over the open door to the dishwasher and definately sprung the hinges, bent the inner door, popped some screws etc. The last time the repair tech came it was about $350 to fix. Looking on line here I could probably order the parts and attempt myself (semi-mechanical), have them come out and repair the door again, or bite the bullet and buy a replacement dishwasher. My question is, since the dishwasher is approximately 6 + years old. is it worth putting another $350 into it and how long could I expect this Bosch Dishwasher to last? It has been problem free with the exception of the collision issues.:o

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim,

Your decision should be based on the condition of the dishwasher as well as the age and price for a new one. Nobody can tell you how much longer your dishwasher is going to last, it's unpredictable.

Gene.
