I went on vacation and came back to hear that while we were gone, our dishwasher stopped working (I suspect our house sitter had something to do with it). When we got home, the dishwasher would not complete all the cycles, however, it would partially open. I would then close again and it would continue. Then the lights started not to work. No wash cycle lights work now, and three option lights work. The Start/Resume light doesn't work, but the cancel light works if you push it, and the washer seems to go into the drain cycle. I have had a handyman come and look at it, but nothing changes. We have tried various reset codes, uplugging, etc., but nothing works. Any suggestions? Thanks, Rob

I just can not see how anyone (house sitter) could cause a DW not to work unless they took it all apart and put it together wrong. I suspect you have a fault in the control panel timer assembly. I doubt the house sitter had anyhting to do with it except perhaps possibly be using it when it decided to malfunction.
