Hi, I moved outside US and brought my washer and dryer with me. I neeed to replaced the power cbale since the plugs are different here than US and built a good cable (they have 220V here on all houses). Connected once after new installation and the breaker tripped, tried again and then it tripped again. Finallly, I double checked the connections on the new cable and put it back on (after changing positive and negative places on the cable) and I managed to plug it in without issues (no tripped) but when I press the button to turn it on, it wont move. I asked a electrician to stop by and check the dryer and he couldnt find antyhing worng with it but since they model doesnt exist here he mentioned that may be when i tripped the breaker 2 times at the begining I either blow an internal fuse or the dryer has some sort of mechanism it tripped inside the dryer to avoid damage to the dryer. I have not clue what could be wrong and I'll appreciatte if someone can chime in and help me with it. Just in case, and I dont know if its important, when I changed the cable i needed to disamble the rear a little bit to get ahold of the screws of the original cable and I havent put those pieces back but I cant seem to make a connection since I havent seen anything that could be a reason for no startting. I know some other appl if they're missing some parts they wont start beacsue they have some sort of triggers attached ot it...
thanks so muhc for your help!
John
