Can you hear the shifter solenoid activate when cubed is selected,and actuator switch engaged ?

Check and insure the shifter arm shaft is properly located in the actuator bale(not below or stuck above the bale).

Can you feel or see the shifter arm (on the side of the bin) move when switched from cubed to crushed settings ?(you will need to tape door switch down to observe.

Easiest diagnosis, is to access the solenoid assembly(inside the box on back of the wall, behind the bin) and inspect solenoid shaft and wires for damage or loose connections, apply 120 volts ac to solenoid with test cord and check for activation/operation.Be careful, don't shock yourself or apply power too long.

If all works proper during the voltage test suspect loose wire at door harness or bad control board in the dispenser assembly.
