After replacing the main control board (WR55X10942) and the solenoid (WR57X10032) for ice dispenser problems I am now having temperature control problems. The freezer seems to be OK but the refrigerator is too cold. I've set the main Refrigerator control to max (46F) and the custom cool to "citrus" (43F) and the temp never seems to go above about 34F and sometimes gets as low as 31F (according to the built-in display). I haven't checked it with a thermometer but I'm pretty sure the display is correct because if the temp stays at 31F for any length of time the food in the bottom freezes and the ice maker quits, presumably, because the water line is frozen.

Did I get a bad board? Is there some adjustment or installation procedure for the board? Maybe a new problem?

Did you follow the directions supplied with the new board? Sometimes you have to cut a wire.
If you did, either you have fresh food thermister problems, or your damper door is now jamed shut.

There was mention of cutting a wire, but it did not apply to the model I'm working on. How would I determine if the damper door is jammed?

Measure the refigerator temperature on the top shelf and the bottom and post. I would remove the damper door cover and check, door might be jamed half way open.
