i need some help the frig and freezer went hot, the compressor was also hot to touch. i replaced overload/ relay switch, it rattled now the frig & freezer will cool down but the fans never shut off ran for 8-9 hrs the compressor is very hot too can't touch the compressor at all. brad

Seems like your compressor start winding is bad and the compressor is drawing stalled current. Feal the compressor, it should be vibrating and the tubing and condenser should be hot. If they are, your compressor is running, but not compressing refrigerant.
You also can check the evaporator. If there is any frost, you either have a bad compressor or a bad refrigerant leak.
