Thanks Gene. I just ordered the part. When it arrives next week and I get it installed I will let you know if it solves my timer problem.

I have been reading this thread and it sounds like our dryer. it dries the clothes VERY well, but the dryer will not automatically shut off on either the sensor dry or timed dry cycles. The model number of the dryer we have is MDE7400AYW. Can you help us out? Thanks!
