It does not appear that water is getting to the ice maker. I pulled the water inlet valve off and tried to remove tubing but can't figure out how. Are these press fit or something. How do you disconnect tubing?

Are these press fit or something. How do you disconnect tubing? This unit should have what are called "john guess" fittings. They are similar to a "press fitting". On the fitting you should notice a darker ring that encirles the tube where it enters the fitting. You need to press in on the ring and pull on the tube (outwards) at the same time. This will release the pressure tabs inside the fitting and allow the tube to be extracted Part number: AP2973545
