My washer will fill and then I can hear a faint hum or buzz, but nothing happens - no agitation. If I turn the cycle forward the machine will spin and drain. Where do I begin troubleshooting. i suspected the timer assembly, but that's an expensive part to purchase when I'm not even sure that's it.
