I've located the doorlatch assembly part online, but I'm not sure how to disconnect the wires from the old one. They look like they should slide off of the brass contacts, but they aren't coming off easily, and I don't want to brake them...any suggestions? Thanks, Cy:

Just pry them off with a flat bladed screw driver.
