My microwave range hood ocasionally exibits the following symtoms. The controls will lock upand can be reset only by removing the power to the unit. Other times the cooling fan will run as soon as the door is closed. The only way that I can get it to stop is to remove the power. Other times it will reset itself ("please set time of day" comes up on the display)when I close the door. I suspect that it is the control board but I am not positive that it isn't something else because when it is reset after one of these episodes everything will work. Can someone tell me what is going on other than the oven is haunted?
