I have a GE Profile Artica (model PSS25NGMD WW) that just developed a new problem. When someone uses the water dispenser, it will not stop running when the paddle is released back to the "off" position. Any thoughts on what it might take to fix it? The kitchen is getting soggy . . .

Thanks in advance!

check your water supply line for restrictions or debris, also check you inline filter or water dispenser fiter for the same.
If those components check OK I reccomend you replace the water fill valve on the back of the unit.
There is the possibility that the actuator switch or lever could be sticking or broken and would require dismantling the dispenser assembly on the freezer door for access to the lever and switch

Dear Sechsr,
Did this recommendation resolve the problem?
We have had the exact same problem and just ended up disconnecting the water hose. But, would love to fix it if it is not too expensive of a task.
Thank you for your comments.
