Problem: no heat

solution that worked:
1) tested the continuity of all thermal switches, all passed being not open
2) turned on dry but ignitor did not get red hot
3) test voltage going to ignitor and it did go to 110VAC when turned on

you will need first few serial numbers to determine which ignitor needed. My serial number started with 233. Had to call someone to get the partnumber required, despite the part number Norton Model 101D being on the part! That is mind blowing/frustrating that no one uses the part number on the part.... odd really.
I ordered 33002789 ignitor, got it in (of course it said Norton model 101 on it... oh well). Gets red hot now, and heats dryer, fixed. Thank you everyone.
