We have a great Kenmore electric dryer, 15 years old, that suddenly quit working, like DEAD, yesterday. I have heard that some dryers won't function at all if a part is bad (sensor, switch, etc.). Any suggestions? Of note, for the past couple of days I noticed a kerosene-like smell when the dryer was running, which I had also noticed when it was brand new. Again, it's an electric, so don't know why this is. Thanks!
