Hi:
I am having problems with my old GE refrigerator...
Symptoms: Freezer and refrigerator BOTH are WARM....

So far I have replaced a) Timer, 2) Heater harness with Thermostat.
( Heater and thermostat tested Ok, but replaced it anyway).

I still have the same problem... Refrigerator works fine for about 3 to 4 days. and then quits.

Questions:
1) Does Ice maker has anything to do with the problem ?
2) When I move the Temperature setting for the refrigerator- not the freezer- back and forth, the compressor comes on . Does this mean my Temperature controller is the problem ?
3) How to test the temperature controller ?
4) What else can I test before blindly trying new parts..?

Thanks
padaki
