Model KSRA25ILSS13 Kitchenaid side by side about 6 years old.
Ok, so I unplugged the fridge to remove the ice maker that isn't working (different issue) and let everything defrost for a few hours. I also removed the bottom front panel and cardboard back panel just to vacuum up dust bunnies.
Reinstalled the ice maker and put it all back to gether, and now it just won't get cold (let it run overnight). Removed back panel in freezer and coils look good (no ice) and the fan is working. The defrost temp unit also looks fine to the ********** eye (not mis-shapen). Cooling fan underneath the fridge is also working and the compressor unit is hot (I do hear a clicking sound periodically coming from the start device/relay area of the condenser assembly, but have no idea if that is an issue).
Anyway, we now have entire contents of the fridge in a cooler and I am spending my Sunday trying to fix this.
Any help is MUCH appreciated.
btw- I am a pretty handy guy, but haven't extensively repaired electrical appliances, so not well versed in ohm meters, etc.

Rather unusual, but when you worked on it the compressor start device failed AP3885081 Just remove the compressor side cover and pry off the device, if it rattles when shaken it's bad. Also check the wiring, you may have pulled off a wire to the compressor when you cleaned back there.
