Hello guys, great site with a lot of useful information. I have a Roper Dryer and one day it just stopped working. I unplugged it and cleaned out the vent, sure enough it was really clogged up.

I did a Google search and I found someone on here with the same problem. You guys suggested to change the thermal fuse (and the manufacturer suggested to replace the cycling thermostat also). Well I bought the thermal fuse, replaced it, and turned it on...nothing. It doesn't start, doesn't make a noise, just like if it were unplugged.

Now I am here seeking further suggestions. Is the fact that I didn't replace the cycling thermostat the problem? Or is there something else I should look into? Any and all suggestions/input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
