Digital oven..Broiler works, all 4 gas burners work..but when i press the 'BAKE' button, the bake doesnt work.

I called service tech, he used a voltage regulator and said 'voltage is going to the ignitor, so the ignitor was good.' However, the igniter bar doesnt get red or hot or anything. Tech said problem was the clock/timer-electronic part.

He said he doesnt work on digital ovens and I could get second opinion.

I called another service tech. He said, 'if voltage is going to the ignitor, but the ignitor is not getting hot, I need a new ignitor'.

I just purchased the ignitor from u, PartPros for about $118.00. The clock/timer -electronic is about $140.00. I cant keep paying for peoples 'opinions'.

Please help. Thanks.

What are the part numbers for the igniter and clock you purchased from APP?

Do you have a simple multimeter to check voltage and continuity?

Gene.
