Last week lightning struck near by tripping all GFIs in house and 4 circuit breakers. Finally realized the dish washer does not work. model GLD4355RFS0
if it fills with water and then does not wash at end of cycle pumps water out to the drain. SO does that mean the motor on the pump works , them it must be the contol board RIGHT?

Not necessarily as the wash pump and pump out pump are 2 units.
Try running the service test.
Check to see it the wash motor is getting voltage when it should.
If not then it is probably the board.
