Freezer temp is not maintaing the -2 to -10 degress F and therefore, the refrigerator is not cold either. Changed the defrost thermostat and defrost control. Checked heaters and they are good. It worked for 4 days and when we put things in the freezer that were already frozen it started warming up within 12 hours.

What else can be done?

Remove the bottom front grille and the rear cover and clean the condenser coils. You probably will need a special condenser cleaning brush. Make sure the fan next to the compressor is running.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric TPX24BPBABB Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com

Gene.

P.S. Normal freezer temperature is about 0°F while the normal refrigerator temperature is between 36°F to 39°F.

P.P.S. You have to wait about 24 hours after any temperature control(s) adjustments.

We already cleaned them, but the fan was running slow the first time we changed the defrost control. We will check it out and let you know. Thanks.
