I have a KSRP22FNSS00 KitchenAidSuperba about 6 yrs old with built-in icemaker that has stopped making ice. The cold water dispenser works fine. I found very helpful info at forum.kitchenaid with link to the icemaker service manual which I downloaded. First I checked to see the water fill was not frozen. Then I followed the diagnostic procedures. I have the 2002 design. Everything was fine with the electric eye boards. With the component checks, the water filled and it made 1 little batch of ice after the jumper test and the LED read out no problem, "the relay and optics are okay, and the receiver senses the ice maker". Great. I assume that means the water fill valve is indeed working. And I think it means I have a faulty thermostat on the icemaker, but I believe this is a tricky repair.

The freezer seems as cold as normal (it was set to middle=normal). I set it one notch colder, just to be sure it's not a minor temp problem and set it to optimice, no help. Then I also poured some water in the tray to see if that would get it going, but that didn't work. Then I unplugged the fridge 10 min for a reset, no good

Per your helpful parts blowup here it lokks like the thermostat does not come as part of the control module so I think I am better off ordering the whole icemaker for $117. Any suggestions appreciated. TIA.

You did very good troubleshooting and your diagnosis sounds right. I would recommend to replace the whole ice maker too.
