Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/29/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a 24" Kitchenaid double oven about 3 years old. I was pre-heating the broiler, opened the oven door to position the rack and the glass on the oven door just cracked from top to bottom, just like that. How could this happen? Was I using the oven incorrectly? Is this a defect? I have an extended warranty but not sure if this is user error (me) or a manufacturer defect issue. Anyone know what I did to make it crack and what is involved in getting the glass replaced?
