 Round filter on bottom of tub- as I was cleaning my dishwasher there was alot of gunk in the filter. I thought I would probably have to replace this so I tried immersing the filter in vinegar for about 15 min. and then took a toothbrush and dawn detergent and scrubed it good over the filter part. I did this a couple of times till it was like new again. It was suprizing how well this got the filter clean and loosened the dirt.
