During cooking last night, some water get into one of the switch and after a loud "boom", the cooktop lost the power. Tried to close the house main electri switch, but it keeps tripping. Seems the cooktop is short circuited.
Question 1. How to open the cooktop? Can the glass top be lifted? If not, where should I start to open it?
2. What could have caused the short? It can't be the circuit breaker which should only cause an open circuit
thanks a lot!
