Hi, haven't seen this problem posted so hope it's not too expensive! We have a GE GSD500/GSD530 dishwasher. Serial nos: GSD530TWW, GSD500TBA/WA/AB/AW printed on top of door. It stops by itself at varying points in the cycle. If we press the latch handle knob up (toward the ceiling) a tiny bit, it will resume the cycle. But it usually stops again. Thanks, Marty

One mof the two door latch microswitches are probably bad, just remove door plastic panel and check.

Hi RicHappy, Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't have the schematic for the dishwasher to know what you are talking about. 1) Do you mean the little rectangular slatted panel on the inside face of the door, or 2) the entire inside door panel, or 3) some access on the outside of the door? Also, is there any risk of **electric shock** if I open these things? Once I get to the microswitches, will they have part numbers on them so I can reorder? Thanks so much, Marty PS Do you know where I can get a more complete manual with schematics of this beast?

Rmove power from the dishwasher and remove the entire inside door panel, switches are in the middle.

Thanks -- will try and let you know. Any idea where I can get that manual/schematics?
