Bought in 2004. Its a side by side. Ice maker fills with water, the plastic gears turn but no ice ejects. I just hear a clicking noise.

What could it be? Bad module, some type of heating element?

Tony,

Most likely the problem is a bad heater on the bottom of the ice maker. Frigidaire does not sell it separate, so the correction is to replace the whole ice maker.
