I had a lightning strike at my house and several appliances and electronics were damaged. The refrigerator stopped cooling, I replaced the main control board and the compressor began running. The next day the freezer was cold, but not the fridge. Checked out the system and found that the evaporator fan motor was not working, replaced the fan motor and both the fridge and freezer are working fine. Now I find that the icemaker is not working, tried to cycle jumpering T & H, but no go. Checked power at the plug on the wall in freezer and had only 24 volts. Tried another icemaker and no luck. Someone told me it could be the door switch, is this possible? Any and all help greatly appreciated, this week has been a nightmare.......Thank you.

If no burnt wire at the icemaker socket, you probably have a burnt wire at some internal splice, not easy to track down. I once routed a new wire down the drain tube to fix this. Definitely not a door switch problem, unless there is a splice there that's bad.
