I finally found a link to a repair manual. I wanted to share beacause this is very difficult to find.

http://www.msaworld.com/wp-cont...asher-Service-Manual.pdf

The OP has by now long since finished the repair or moved on, but since this appears in searches the unanswered questions for;

Bosch WFMC3200UC and WFMC6400UC washing machines and E:09 and E:20 and motor controller failures etc.

C:nn where nn is a number actually indicates how many times the fault occurred. The service training manual states the value indicates “which wash cycle”, but that appears to be a mis-understanding in translation. C stands for Count or Cycle Count, but not Cycle itself. Also, while the service training manual indicates that the machine retains faults from the last 8 wash cycles, it appears more likely it reraijs errors from the last 4 wash cycles because it appears to be impossible to have the count for an error greater than 4.

E:09 means communication between the main control module and the motor control module is lost. This is more likely to be a contact problem or a wiring defect than a defective module. Also check the ground connections for the motor, tub, and controllers. If the wiring is tested and is good the fault may be caused by a defect on either the main control module or the motor control module.

E:20 indicates a motor control failure. If E:09 is present diagnose E:09 first. E:20 without E:09 would be a defective motor or a defective controller. Measure winding resistances, and speed indicator resistance, and check the resistance of the wiring from the controller to the motor, and the grounds for the controllers, motor, and tub. A motor that spins freely and doesn’t smell like burned insulation is less likely to be the problem, but everything happens to someone. The exact motor winding resistance value is less important than that all 3 are reasonably similar and none of them is shorted to the motor frame. Only replace the motor controller after everything else is eliminated. A new Bosch module is not economically attractive, repaired boards and 3rd party modules can be had for around 1/5th the Bosch price. These are readily found where Weird Al Yankovic says in song that he bid on an old toupee.

Motor winding resistance ... the values shown in the service training appear to be speculative guesses about a 120v motor not yet designed being 1 1/2 ohms. The winding resistance of a good motor is more likely to be between 3 and 4 ohms. The service manual fails to check for shorts to the (hopefully) grounded motor frame.

The speed sensor resistance is likewise mis-stated, more likely between 300 and 400 ohms.
