I have this nice tandem convection oven but suddenly, the lower oven fan quit coming on when the oven is powered up.

I was told that it probably:

1) the fan itself (preferable), or
2) the "control board" ($$$)

I'd like to remove the fan and bench-test it. Trouble is, it appears to only come out from THE BACK !!! What an engineering faux pas! Jeez ...

Can anyone please confirm that, in fact, this fan can ONLY come out from the back, and therefore I must remove the entire (built-in) unit from its compartment?!?

Thanks,
